20th Anniversary Event

Please join us in celebrating 20 years of CNPS Sequoia Chapter’s active restoration project at China Creek. The park is a beautiful Valley Oak woodland. For over 20 years, volunteers have been creating educational experiences, maintaining trails, and removing invasive weeds so that native plants can flourish. Entrance/parking is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic style lunch, bug spray, sunscreen, and shoes appropriate for unpaved trails. There will be hands-on nature activities for children available all day, as well as expert guided hikes, and honored guests Sacred Circle Drum Group. At noon, we will recognize the park’s current and long-time volunteers. Come for one activity or come for them all!
